RESTRICTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS

Permanent Makeup General Information and FAQs:

•Everyone’s skin will react differently, some people are more sensitive than others.

•When looking at your finished brows, you will notice some warmth in the color & that is due to the pigments being modified to help your brows not heal too cool/ashy.

•You will also notice small white ring around your brows, that is the blanching of the skin from the numbing. That will go away when the numbing wears off.

•I cannot tattoo over moles or blemished in treated area

•You may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during your menstrual cycle.

•Lips have a tendency to swell, and sometimes can bruise. Both will subside within 24 hours.

•Even if you are not prone to cold sores/fever blisters, you can sometimes still get a breakout after your lip blush procedure.

•If you have previous permanent makeup from another artist, there is no guarantee that I can “touch up” or “cover up” the work, so a consultation is required prior to booking.

•If you have allergies, please email me and I will be happy to send you ingredient lists for each product I use.If you have any questions or concerns about any services, feel free to email me!

 AFTERCARE

EYELINER SERVICE + CARE

First you must understand that there are a few different styles of permanent eyeliner to choose from. One of them being tightline, which involves adding the pigment between the layers of your eyelashes to darken your lash line. This option is a lot thinner than an eyeliner, and it’s considered very natural-looking. Then there is the traditional eyeliner the pigment is actually applied above the lash line and it’s drawn almost as if you were to put a liquid eyeliner on. This is mostly for people who wear that look on a daily basis and want the ease of not having to draw them daily. Thickness depends on the clients preference and is discussed before the procedure takes place. Lastly, we have winged eyeliner. This style is not for everyone and should be carefully selected for those that wear this style daily as it is a bold look and not suited for everyone. Pre-numb is applied to the lash lid for 20 minutes to ensure no pain. Once you get your eyeliner applied, there’s really no down time. You can leave and go about your daily tasks and even drive yourself home afterwards. The true color will be seen after three weeks. Immediately afterwards the treated area can appear swollen and even itchy. This is normal. The speed of healing depends on the skin type, so every person heals at different rates. Proper maintenance is important. After your initial appointment you will need to come back sometime between 8-12 weeks later for your final touch-up. Color boosts are suggest after so many years when the color lightens.

• You should avoid touching or rubbing your eyes while they heal, so you don’t spread any germs or bacteria around the area.

• Healing time takes 7-10 days total

•Use a q-tip dipped into clean water and gently clean the area.

•Do not wear makeup, especially mascara, for 10 days.

•You must remove your lash extensions at least one week before you have the procedure done.

•If you wear contacts you must take them out

•Avoid sun exposure

•Avoid sweating, saunas, gyms and working out as well as swimming pools.

•No facials, botox or any other cosmetic treatments 4 weeks prior to this procedure.

•Do not sleep on your face and use a clean pillowcase.

•Do not wear contact lenses during the healing period. Wear glasses for 10 days after.

and when it’s finished, take a new pair of contacts if possible.

NANO RESULTS + CARE

Nano is a more inclusive style of cosmetic tattooing. Not just because of its versatility, but for example, Nano can be performed on oilier skin types something you typically cannot do with microblading. Although technically considered permanent, your brows will fade slowly over time, allowing you to update your look as trends and your preferences change. After the initial service a touch-up within 8-10 weeks is necessary for optimal results to finalize everything. Results can last 1-3 years & depend on lifestyle, skin type and retention. It is suggested to get yearly touch-ups to maintain shape and color.

POWDER BROWS RESULTS + CARE

Immediately after the treatment, powder brows can appear more saturated or bold, however healed results appear like soft powdery finish. During the healing process the brows can fade from 40-80%. This range depends on lifestyle, skin type and compliance with aftercare. You will not be able to see the true healed results until at least 4 weeks after your appointment when the skin is fully healed. Powder Brows are a two-appointment process. After your initial appointment you will need to follow up 8-12 weeks later for your “perfecting appointment” I will go over the brows again to ensure proper coverage for any pigment loss during the healing process. After that you are all set. It is suggested to come back once a year to maintain shape and color, however powder brows typically last longer and you may be able to extend your touch-up to three years.

LIP Blushing AFTERCARE

Afterwards the lips will be swollen, and the skin will feel tight. Icing immediately afterwards will alleviate discomfort and bring the swelling down. This will also prevent bruising from occurring. No exercising for 5-7 days. Absolutely no picking or pulling at any scabs while lips are healing. No kissing is allowed. Your lips are essentially an open wound between the first seven days and can be easily infected. Keep the lips constantly moisturized. Aquaphor is what I suggest using, please do not use Vaseline, Neosporin or antibiotic creams on the lips.

Avoid the following:

WATER (ON THE PMU AREA) ASIDE FROM CLEANING THEM

MAKEUP

EXCESSIVE SWEATING

SAUNA

POOLS

SUNBATHING
